is it mean case officer assigned for my application ?
is it mean not far from visa been granted ?
my wife currently 5 month pregnant, she is off shore currently, we mentioned it in her application as well

No … it means you haven’t provided all the information required. If your wife is pregnant then she won’t be able to do the medicals until after the baby is born and she can’t be granted a visa until they are finalised.

When I submit the application right after got email asking medical and bio information collection, we done the medical at the beginning

She did a chest x-ray whilst pregnant?

Why would they ask me ( sponsor ) do the police check ?

Because it's a requirement of approving the sponsorship application.
