Hello All - Can you please help me answer a few questions:

A.) Can the 40sp and 47sp forms for the sponsor/applicant use the same exact responses to the 5 questions (finances, nature of household, commitment, development, and social)? We've written joint statements using the world "we" and talking in 3rd person for the 2,000 character boxes for our online forms. Separately, we've written separate essays about our partnership in 1st person.

B.) Is there a real good link breaking down where to upload documents to the correct category online? I have a checklist of 40 documents ready to be uploaded after reading so much here and on the Immi website, but now I'm confused of the wording of categories vs what I've been calling the files (I'll give 1 example next). I have an idea how to do it right, but I just want to double-check

C.) In what category of the uploads did you upload your personal essay? Stat Dec category? I thought perhaps that was just for our friends/family, so then I thought "commitment," but the essays are broader than just commitment like talking about trips, development of relationship, etc in addition to commitment.

I understand where to upload identity documents, rental agreements, civil partnership, joint bank statements, and more, but some other documents I have prepared I want to double-check where I should be uploading them category-wise. Thanks.

The long form questions should be answered by the applicant and the sponsor each in their own words, not joint or copied and pasted on both forms. However if you've written separate essays to be attached and they cover the five areas then you could write "see attached statement" in the boxes.

Nature of the couple's mutual commitment to each other, Evidence of -
here we put:
- legal will
- Statement regarding future plans
- couple and family photos
- relationship statement
- when my husband was in hospital two hours away for a minor surgery, evidence that I accompanied him and stayed in a b&b nearby.

Financial aspects of the relationship, Evidence of - here we put:
- joint bank statements
- joint car insurance
- joint health insurance

Nature of the couple's household, Evidence of - here we put:
- Record of joint responsibility for care of children -
assessment document for speech therapy for one of our kids that has both our names on it, school records, etc.
- Lease Agreement/Rent Statement
- Tax documents showing we are listed as spouses
- Utilities Accounts over the years
- Photos of our living arrangements

Social aspects of the relationship, Evidence of - here we put:
- Joint travel itineraries
- Joint holidays to visit each others' families in different countries
- Social photos
- Joint friends/family invitations, emails addressed to both of us from mutual friends, etc

The rest are ID documents which are fairly self explanatory, and police clearances which go under Character, Evidence of. Hope that helps somewhat. There is also this, if you haven't seen it already, but it doesn't really talk about categories per se.

C.) In what category of the uploads did you upload your personal essay? Stat Dec category? answered above, we put it under commitment. Just name it clearly so the CO will know what it is. At the end of the day, if the files are clearly named, it doesn't really matter what category you put it in as some will fit under multiple categories, and some defy categorising, but you have to put it somewhere, so just pick whatever is the closest thing.

but some other documents I have prepared I want to double-check where I should be uploading them category-wise. Thanks.
I don't know since you haven't said what kind of documents those are that you don't know where to put - makes it kind of hard to answer don't you think? :)

As I said already, I don't think it matters too much as long as you name them clearly.

Hi everyone!
This might be a really silly question (in which case, pls don't judge me!) but here goes. What's the difference between Photograph - Other and Photograph - Passport? Are there different requirements for each? If so, could someone please tell me what the requirements are?

There are no silly questions when it comes to immigration.

Photograph-Passport is just that: a passport size photograph, the same as you have in your passport and used to identify you.

Photograph-Other are any other photos that are relevant to your application. In the case of a partner visa, for example, your wedding photos.
