Hi everyone, we lodged our partner visa back in May and today received a call from
the CO asking for my husband to return back to home country.. in all excitement forgot to ask a few questions.. how long does he have here in aus before he has to return, is there a due date? Can he stay here for another week or so before returning? How long does it take for them to grant the partner visa when he returns back to Fiji and will he be able to come back straight away or do they give you a return date?

In the email they sent me, they said to stay out for 3-5 days in case of delays. There was a must enter by date but it was not for many months. I also didn't have a deadline to leave but we already had flights for a holiday the following week so it worked out.

I think we took a few weeks or more to go offshore.

They requested 5 working days offshore.

We gave them itinerary and informed just before departure and again day of departure - got approval same day when we checked in Singapore on way to Vietnam.
