Geez sounds horrible from 1099 applications only 71 grants .

That was 1,099 subclass 100 visas granted in the month of December 2020.

71 of them were granted in Brisbane.
The other 1,028 grants were granted from other centres.

The timeline of processing has been changed:
75% From 17 month to 16 month
90% still sat on 22 month
I think 75% means under 75% and 90% means over 90% for applicant .

The 75% figure does mean under 17 months processing time, some a lot less.

For comparison:
Jan 2020: 17-31 = 75% took up to 17 months. 10% took over 31 months.

Dec 2020: 16-22 = 75% took up to 16 months. 10% took over 22 months.

So the latest figures are better, in theory, than at the start of last year.

To give a guide on those figures, in 2018/19, the times were 75% being done in under 526 days (17.3 months).

However, the average was 434 calendar days (14.3 months).

I’m married for 4 years and 6 years in relationship we got two kids both going to school we bought house together last year my 309 granted 5th of jan 2020 my DOL was 5th 0f jan 2019 they didn’t grant me subclass 100 straight after 309 i sent them email they replied to me and told me you are not eligible you didn’t met our requirement which was disappointed .
I’m waiting to see when i get my Pr hopefully before my kids graduation of university 🤞😂.

Hi, just want to know if you need to live in Australia for 2 years to be eligible for visa 100 or can you be eligible 2 years after 309 was lodged even if you did not reside in Australia for 2 years

I emailed and explained my situation because I married for more than four years and six years in relationship with two kids they going to school now but they replied you are still in normal timeframe .

Same here , the agent we used emailed the DHA asking for any updates, but we got nothing new. It is just a waiting game ( I just hate to be kept in limbo)

Maybe most people that do get grants don't come back and tell people.

The numbers of grants are lower than before COVID, averaging about half the number of grants in the first part of 2020.

But about 7,000 subclass 100 grants were done since 1 July 2020.

1,494 subclass 100 grants in Jul 2020
1,176 subclass 100 grants in Aug 2020
1,771 subclass 100 grants in Sep 2020
948 subclass 100 grants in Oct 2020
1,035 subclass 100 grants in Nov 2020
1,099 subclass 100 grants in Dec 2020

In the first 3 months of 2020, before COVID, there were 6,736 visas finalised, with 5,844 being granted. Average of 1,948 grants per month.

The number of subclass 100 applications in the pipeline has reduced since July, but only by about 1,000.

At 31/07/2020 there were 47,667 subclass 100 applications in the pipeline.

At 31/12/2020 there were 46,737 subclass 100 applications in the pipeline.

Out of the 1,099 subclass 100 visas granted in December 2020, only 71 were granted in Brisbane. The majority seem to be granted in other locations now.

Out of the 2,127 subclass 100 visas granted in January 2020, 1,394 were granted in Brisbane.
