What's your status in IMMI account?
It says Received and has said that since I lodged the application. I was told that it can go from received to finalised in no time or go through each stage.

It also says last updated Nov 2017 - not sure what that is in reference to.

I am so confused right now.

I think in your case it’s just matter of time. Most of the people in this forum have noticed their status from received to finalised. So I would say same would be with yours too. It could turn finalised anytime.

I have same timeline like yours.
820/801 applied: March 2015
820 granted: June 2016
801 eligibility: March 2017
801 applied: November 2017

Status is further assessment from long time. No contact till now whatsoever.

There is no way it would go through each stage after 17 months. It should go straight to finalised. In regards to last updated thing, I have same and so as many people here. I am not sure what that is but when I called department few months back, they advised me that it is the date department has seen your documents. But I really don't know is that right or no.

Atleast that is a good thing. I have been getting such random responses from the department that I think I get more confused. While the global processing times are still the same - immiaccount says other wise. The lady at the department says that I need to pay attention to that which seems ridiculous. Surely if I have waited 17 months it amounts to something instead of starting from scratch. I am just very disheartened today

Global processing times will change once the site gets updated. IMMI account got updated and now IMMI site will. They don't update at the same time. But yes what your IMMI account says is the correct information and I am waiting patiently like you. I really hope it's gets done before new year.

Thanks for that, it does help me a bit. I hope you get your visa soon. Long wait times are understandable. I hope it doesnt go any more longer. Just feels like life is on hold and hinging on a decision. :)

I see that new wait times have been published again today? 20 - 26 months.
Yes it is as of today. I am trying not to think too much about it. Subclass 100 went from 23-32 months to 19-25 months so I guess it can be up and down based on how fast the officers work and how many cases they can approve. :)

Does anyone know where I can find the “reconciliation statutory declaration” or a blank statutory declaration that can be used for the statement?

I’d appreciate your help a lot! Thanks 🙂

Sorry i know my message is too long to read but i just feelp helpless

I'm reading the forum and see some people mortgage been rejected. We are one of them as well. Not just that, I've been rejected even to own credit card because I am not a PR.
Now this is my question: Who has been affected negatively on their job search, mortgage applications, business creation, credit card application just because of the delay on the process of their 801?

Hi there,

I think this whole process is effecting us one way or another.

Just yesterday when I was informed by my lawyer I will have to pay "Foreigner stamp duty surcharge" for my share of the property that my partner and I are buying. I guess it is fair enough as I am still not an Australian resident but in the same time I am marrying to one and we are just trying to build our lives here. This costs us thousands of dollars.

However, I am fortunate enough to secure a full time job in my field. I think as long as you explain to them you has full working rights they shouldn't have any problem with it unless you go for Government jobs or something like that.

With mortgage we got rejected once but it is all approved now with a different bank.

If the property is in NSW, you might want to ask your lawyer again on that point. NSW specifically exempts 820/309 visa holders from the stamp duty surcharge per revenue ruling G 009 - go to the NSW revenue website and the following page
/info/legislation/rulings/general/g009

I can't post it as an actual link
