I want to submit an enquiry on behalf of my wife, but am fearful of triggering the opposite response, although - no visible action after 20 months - immiaccount still showing "received" must be a valid enquiry.

Hi here 16 months waiting time . I submitted an enquiry form online last month and after that I updated few documents but still hear nothing. Asked my agent they said no any news still waiting for CO .....

I feel that a request to them, asking if there is a problem due to the status still being 'received', might be a valid enquiry.

It is basically what we did.

I agree about it being fearful, I was very concerned too, wondering if we had enough uploads etc., for them to review it and make a decision on what we had done so far..

But I think I worded it carefully, so they would look at it positively, and tell me if anything else was needed..

Congratulations! My eligibility was 13th of Feb, but I haven’t lodged yet coz we are planning to travel in Phils on my mom’s 60th in May. I agree on "Declaration of relationship with government authorities", So I have few questions

My medicare is on my married name and was submitted on 820. My new married name passport and WA drivers licence will be part of 801. I am updating my ATO name and added my hubby as auth rep but can’t be done on mygov.au so I need to send the form in the office. I am updating hubby’s Centrelink’s profile but getting an error so we have to go to the office for that.
1. “ATO Tax assessments showing combined names”, How did you combine your names?
2. What are things can be done/added on hubby’s ATO profile?
3. I am thinking of creating my Centrelink account, Should I or Shouldn’t I do it?
4. I was on BVA when we applied my medicare. We’d like to have the same card number but we were told that I need to be a PR, can we possibly combine it now?
5. Any other government authorities that we could declare our relationship?

It was exciting we received an email the next day asking for more information for social, living together, long term commitment..within a week I gathered up all this information and sent it in..yesterday i emailed them again and Within 1 hour we received a email back saying we still had 10 days left of our 28 days, as he did not believe we were genuine on our information provided and if we didn't provide any new information than he will assess our visa on what he had.. Please can anyone help with what I need..

Evidence we provided at the time in both names

Our Shop Lease (we started a business) 31/03/2018
Home rental lease
the usual elect, gas,rego
Dog Rego, vet bills
Joint Account
Receipts for new expensive bed and fridge
Stat Decs from 4 friends admittedly 2 were from my son's

With opening the shop we are there pretty much 24/7
We have a very little social life mainly dinner with my son's
A couple of parties
Christmas dinner
A few photos were taken...I'm usual the big person behind the camera taking the photo as I don't like being in photo's
We have heaps of photos with our new grandson and our dogs
We never went on holidays oversea once he arrived from Iran..
one because we saved to buy equipment and to lease a shop and 2 because my husband was worried if he was rejected outside of Australia he wouldn't be allowed back in..
Before being approved our 309 we had meet up in Thailand 4 times
We put in presents to and from each other.

Sorry I'm stunned and a bit broken as we now only have 9 days and I'm not sure what else to add..
Any advice would be appreciated

First, take a deep breath. That doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have a negative outcome. It looks like good evidence that you've provided.
Some other things you could add would be tax returns showing you both as spouse/partner; joint Flybuys or Woolworth's Rewards accounts; look for pictures of you both at events and include them (like a pic of your partner with family, then a pic of you at same get together). Put your photos into a Word document so you can add several into one document and under each of the pics, name everyone in it and say what event it was. If you have Wills, add those. I included my children's school paperwork showing both my husband and I listed as emergency contacts (as well as my mother in law). We also included our linked Facebook pages, which showed our posts to each other as well as our friends and family's posts. If you sort through the forum, you can find lots of ideas of other evidences that you can include.

I've recently uploaded a few things like joint bank statements, electricity bill, apartment lease, and super beneficiary statements.

Does anyone think it'd help to upload the Sponsor Stat Dec/other Stat Decs now too?

Well if you don't they don't have to ask for them and can make a decision without them.

You should have uploaded the sponsor stat dec and any other evidence when you submitted the second stage - don't wait to be asked.

My partner has his own personal account that his money goes in to it and we use it to pay the bills/ its our off set account as well. It is on his name but i do have a full access to it. Recently I have been using it to pay few of our bill (most of those are only in his name) and next to the bill or amount it shows my name (authorised by MY FULL NAME). Do you guys think adding a screenshot of those bills and emails etc would be a bonus?

Most certainly.

We have the same setup where my individual account is the main wages and savings account and offset account as the mortgage is in my name only but my wife has full control as a signatory, we uploaded all of that with an explanation of how it worked.

I doubt it very much.

The person you asked got their 801 in 9 months. They had a child, were from India, and said: "Our relationship is 3 and half year old. Child was born during the process of 820."

In contrast, we have no children, she is from the Philippines, and we also got the 801 in 9 months, just one months after they got theirs. Our 801 eligibility was one month after theirs too.

No. They didn't reply.. At least not until the visa grant. Although the status had changed by the next time we logged in, to 'submitted'.

I never saw any further change, until 'finalised'.

When you contacted them, was it via the enquiry form online?
I applied a few months ago, but I've uploaded so much stuff, I feel like maybe i should use the form to try and prompt them, or is it still too early?

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my hairdresser had her visa granted after 6 months of waiting (she applied a month early after getting the email from the immigration dept telling her to submit her assessment documents, so in reality only 5 months if you want to count from the eligibility date). She got hers granted a couple weeks after she used the enquiry form. Had I not told her about this, she would no doubt still be waiting

If you have any Medicare documents showing BOTH of you, linked, such as a joint Medicare card with both names, then it could be worth uploading that.

Otherwise may not be useful.

Medicare and Immigration are pretty well linked.

We went into a Medicare office the day after the PR 801 was granted, and Medicare already had the records updated to PR, with a new card being processed.

We lodged on 4 August 2018 (6 months before the grant).

Processing time for subclass 801 Partner (permanent) visa and 100 Partner (permanent) visa is from date of eligibility (2 years after the 820/801 or 309/100 application is lodged) to finalisation.

And you were granted after using the enquiry form? What do you think I could say? I've uploaded pretty much everything and in the most uniform fashion possible. I've only been waiting a month or so but I can't imagine having to wait 22 or so months when others are getting it in half a year
