My partner and I are applying for a pmv in the next few months. But we are a same sex couple. And he unfortunately comes from a homophobic family. He isn't out to his family or friends. And because of that. No one on his end knows I exist. Or knows we are in a relationship. I realise this is an issue for the 888 form.
The only option we have is for him to come to Australia and meet my family and friends and have them do the 888 form. But given our small time frame for him staying we only have about 2 months holiday time before he needs to go back home.

Is 2 months of knowing someone enough time for someone to do a 888 form in support of our relationship and an adequate support for him? I have plenty of people who know me, and have known about our relationship for 6 months or more. But they've never met him. (they will).

Lots of people get PMV's even from high risk countries that can never get a Visitor Visa to visit Australia.

My Partner at the time of PMV application had never been to Australia - due to refused visas, but we had 3 or 4 form 888's done about our relationship.
