Hello everyone!
My name is Careena from the Phils. I've been following some threads on this site and this is my first time to post an inquiry.
I lodged my PMV application last April 2018.
July 2018 i received an email from immi asking for additional documents.
(applicant: NBI clearance / sponsor: Police check)
I haven't heard from immi since.
I have read in some threads that after some days or few weeks of fulfilling/ submitting a requested additional supporting documents, applicants get the result.

I know I'm just being paranoid (because I'm impatient ) but, would like to ask if is it normal that you wait for few more months for the result of the application?
I sent an email to follow-up last Monday (January 28) but, did not receive any response.

How long did it take for your PMV's to get approved?

As a guide 75% of subclass 300 applications were done in 14 months or less, last month.

The time after submitting requested info varies. We got our 300 grant about 5 months after submitting requested documents. But for the 820 visa it was the same day.

It varies depending on how soon or late, they ask for documents.

Thank you JandE, I submitted the requested documents after 2 weeks (Aug 2018) and clicked the thing on the immi site that says "i have submitted/completed documents".
Then did not receive any feedback from them. This is our 5th month since we submitted the documents they requested.

Glad you got the 820 on the same day. Hope I get to hear from them soon.

Hi. As of jan 2019 the processing time is 14-18 months.
I lodged mine last year Oct 2018. Havent heard anything from them. No email not all. We just have to wait. 🙂

I'd like to share my experience here in case it can help you.

I lodged my PMV application last May 2018.
We were required so many additional documents.
As I remembered, it's about 3 times, a month after one is submitted.
Also, my fiance lived in Japan for 2 years before, so we were required to have Japanese police check.
We submitted the Japanese police check in January 2019.
No response from the immigration so far.

Current wait times are around 14 to 19 months, however there are many things that can delay your grant.
On the website it states
"Circumstances that affect processing times
We assess applications on a case-by-case basis, and actual processing times can vary due to individual circumstances including:

whether you have lodged a complete application, including all necessary supporting documents
how promptly you respond to any requests for additional information
how long it takes to perform required checks on the supporting information provided
how long it takes to receive additional information from external agencies, particularly in relation to health, character, and national security requirements
for permanent migration visa applications, how many places are available in the migration programme"

Currently it's showing 12-17 months processing time on my visa application .... I don't know but things have gone on a silent mode again from jan 2019. Haven't heard anyone saying their visa is granted...
We have submitted all the documents and when we contacted our CO for updates, they replied that after departmental checks our case will be finalised.. its been 2 mnths waiting for their reply again..... feeling frustrated
