Hi guys. I've got maybe twenty days left of my total 28 days since Coe cancellation. I have gathered all documents I need for visa 485 application, except for my police check, which I applied for on the 28 March. I haven't heard anything from AFP, and I know it's because of Easter, but I'm still worried since I read some of the post about long waiting time, and I forgot to put one of my previous address on the application, so there's a possibility that I will not be able to get a certificate. Anyway, what I want to ask about is whether it's possible to submit an application for visa 485 without the police check certificate and submit the certificate later. And if I submit a visa application without a police certificate, will it count as a valid visa application?
I want to stay as long as I can in Australia with 485, but if I keep waiting for this police check before applying for visa, I might not even have the time to pack my stuff before I leave at my 28 days deadline. At least even if my visa application get refused, I'll have 28 more days to arrange everything.
