Hey guys,
this might seem like a really dumb question but.....

Immi contact us for some additional documents for stage 2 partner visa. Since stage 1 granted we have not moved to Australia but been back and forth which they note in the email.

They have asked my husband to supply an AFP police check- BUT he has not lived there for more than 12 months?

As I understand you can only get them if your there longer- but I am confused as to why the would request it?

Thoughts?

You can get it any stage. Technically as a requirement it's 12 months cumulatively, which due to lack of detail we can't comment if you meet the requirements.
Given the low cost of it i'ld just get
