Hi, my partner and i are applying for a Partner visa for Australia. We are currently both in the Philippines and my girlfriend needs to get a police clearance from the USA. To do an FBI check we need to supply finger prints.Does any one know where or how we can get this done from the Philippines? Or would anyone know if they Australian immi will except an NBI clearance or can we just put finger prints on a card our self and send that off to the FBI?

According to the DIAC website, to obtain a clearance for the US, you will need to provide to the FBI:

a covering letter,
a set of both rolled/inked and plain fingerprint impressions placed on a standard paper fingerprint card,
satisfactory proof of identity, consisting of full name, date and place of birth,
postal address for return of results.
Return international postage

You need to 'Apply to your local police authority with proof of identity.'

Reading through other forums, looks like you should be able to go to your local police station and ask them to fingerprint you.
