Possible to speed up 155 application

I currently have a 155 application that was submitted Jul 13 and is still waiting to be evaluated. I currently have travel booked for Aug 8th returning Aug 31. Just completely forgot to get the RRV application in sooner, but when I applied last year (April I believe) it only took 5 days to come back. Neither that time nor this time am I eligible for the 5 year.

Is it possible to speed this up if I go somewhere in person or is there anything that can be done?
