I am in the process of initiating an application for a skilled visa (189). I have a 4 year old child with hearing impairment although he is now fitted with cochlear implants on both ears and has been attending speech therapy for over a year now. I also learnt that Australia declines visa applications where the kids have disability.
I am asking whether we stand any chance considering that he already has cochlear implants fitted or we should not pursue the application?? Those that have walked this route what was your experience like??
