Hi All,

I am just wondering how far back into the relationship we are required to provide proof of keeping in contact during periods of separation.
Is it just during the time you have been living with each other, or is it since you have been in a relationship with your partner?

My partner and I have been together since we were 16 (which was nearly 7 years ago) so I think I am going to find it quite difficult to find phone call records for the times when we were not living together!

We have been living together in a rental house (which has both our names on the lease) for over 2 years now, and during that time we have had no periods of separation.

I'm just wondering how far back I have to go with all of this!

Thank you for your help!

The time you have known oneanother prior to residing together is just that and whilst it is supportive of your relationship, the relationship is just measured on people residing together so gaps in previous communication are not so relevant.
