Hi Just wanna ask here if it's possible to be granted if we apply for a Prospective Marriage Visa now, We had a long distance relationship since May 8, 2020 but only met February 14, 2022. We've been together for 2 months, then he went back to Australia after. Is it possible to get a PMV in that case? and how long the visa will take to be granted? thank you

That is what the PMV is designed for.

How long it takes will depend a lot on how well you present your application and relationship evidence. Ours took about 9 months.

Is it okay to apply for the visa in first met? or do we need to meet twice or thrice first before applying?

I have heard of people only meeting once, but with a decent time otherwise communicating.

The PMV is designed to allow the couple more time together before they marry, and apply for a partner visa.
