Hey guys im writing on behalf of my friend from india his Prospective marriage visa got rejected today after 14 months of waiting reason of refusal is the delegate does not believe that the applicant intend to genuinely marry the sponsor apparently they had an interview and the case officer was asking about some pictures provided some of them they were both wearing the engagement ring some of em not and the case officer was asking about their plans in the country the sponsor answered that no plans of yet so probably the interview was the main reason for refusal .
Now they need a migration agent lawyer that is based here that can assist with the appeal the sponsor is in india now does she needs to come back herself to lodge it here or it can be lodged from there ?

The sponsor is entitled to apply for a merits review of this decision to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).

The review application can be lodged online or by various other means.

The refusal letter would have contained all this information and will also outline the timeframe within which the review application must be lodged.

I strongly advise your friend yo engage an Australian based Registered Migration Agent to deal with this.
