There's no requirement for a sponsor to have a job.
With my bank it's quite easy to separate transactions on their app

I think it was 2013 that you had to stop providing proof of income ect for the sponsor so if you are reading that here check the date.I need as much help as I can get.
My partner (Australian citizen) and I (Kazakhstani citizen) have been together for 2 years now and want to apply for prospective marriage visa (subclass 300). My partner was out of work for several years and was paid by centerlink. And currently he's studying his bachelors so he cannot be my sponsor cause he doesn't have a job. Looking up information about him being my assurer of support I was stumped cause it turns out the visa subclass is not valid for AoS. Though I read somewhere on this forum that it was valid. Am I doing something wrong, or things have changed?
Another question. He's been sending me money for about a year, and we'll be able to get bank statements. Is there a way to request a bank statement that only shows money transfers between our accounts, or we just get the whole thing and attach it to visa application?
Additional information: he visited me last year, so we have pictures together and tickets to prove that. View attachment 14102

Thank you both for your replies. Do you know what stuff my partner will have to provide to count as my sponsor?I think it was 2013 that you had to stop providing proof of income ect for the sponsor so if you are reading that here check the date.
Also depends on the back as to what statements you can and can't do and how easy it is to do
Subclass 300, 309, 820 all of these partner visa require one thing : true love and love !!!!!! but you gotta prove it, simple couple of photos not enough,Thank you both for your replies. Do you know what stuff my partner will have to provide to count as my sponsor?
The sponsor/partner application on the IMMI account provides most of the requirements for that. An ASOS is not required for the Partner/PMV visas.I need as much help as I can get.

We've been together for 2 years in ldr, 3 months of which we lived together. The sponsor/partner application on the IMMI account provides most of the requirements for that. An ASOS is not required for the Partner/PMV visas.
They do not need a job for the 300 or 309 visa.
When you say that you have been together for 2 years, do you mean living together? If so, the 309 might be better.
Copies of bank statements, that include your transfers, appear to be acceptable.
We have proof of our relationship going on third year now. As far as I know we only "had to" meet in person once (so we did). We have bank statements, pictures, screenshots of our conversations. I think all of that, according to immi website is enough. The fact the you were living together is not enough. Consult one of the RMAs who posts on this forum for a case assessment.
