Hi Friends,

I have given PTE mock test and got 70 overall score.

My scores:
L 71
R 69
S 80
W 70

Can anyone please let me know that what are the chances of getting 79+ score in PTE exam? I heard that PTE mock tests are really tough, is this correct? Kindly guide me.

I think you stand a good chance provided you put in some preparation and get used to the PTE Academic format. In my experience of working with test-takers, IELTS tends to be more difficult in the writing section. Test-takers on average score one band higher in PTE vs IELTS in the writing section. On the other hand, most people find the reading section of the PTE Academic more difficult than IELTS.

I would suggest that you first take the official mock test available at free mock test for pte. This gives you scored results similar to the real exam. It will give you a good estimate of where you stand and which section you need to focus on.
