Hello,

Im currently on my first work holiday visa (417) but i got a question about applying for a second year visa. My neighbour who came into australia on the same visa confused me a little bit.
I currently worked 6 months in a regional area in a pub. Does this apply for the second year application or not? He is saying it does but im pretty sure it doesn't.
Im currently engaged to someone here and we are planning to marry at some point. The problem is we cant afford the de facto or the partner visa just yet so are looking for a problem fixer.
Anyone has some ideas for us?
Going for a second WHV is a good move, as it will give you plenty of time to establish the partner relationship and get some good evidence together. Just make sure you do the right type of work in the right postcode. The link Sky posted has all the details. Make sure you allow enough time, so you don't end up being a few days short and make sure everything is above board, well documented and beyond any doubt.

We have been dating since 2015, so relationship evidence we got enough of that. We got statements of people etc etc.
My visa runs out in september it just makes me nervous i started in February on a vineyard. And luckily enough we live in a rural area and our postcode is included.
If you started on a vineyard in an eligible regional area in February, you should have plenty of time to get the required evidence for a second WHV.

Don't underestimate the amount and the quality of the relationship evidence that is required. We are talking about evidence of a de-facto relationship, not a boyfriend/girlfriend situation. A de-facto relationship is basically the same as being married and the evidence must support that.

I dont get what you mean with boyfriend/girlfriend? We are engaged since september 2017. We are getting married so you are confusing me right now
You mentioned "dating", so that is a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. If you became formally engaged in September, then that's probably where you would start counting from.
