Hi all,

I have been thinking of applying this visa for my parents as they have met the requirements recently.
But i have heard of the introduction of new visa which will/might abolish this one.
I tried to find information on when and how across the official website yet i couldn't find anything helpful about the timeline,

Anyone have any idea about this? We are thinking to launch it in late August and don't know it will still be available.

There is a new temporary parent visa being introduced in November 2017. If you apply for the contributory parent visa or parent visa now, that application will most likely stand. The Department normally grandfather's visa applications based on the regulations at the time of application.
