Hello everone,

I am planing to lodge an application for a TSS (482) visa within the next days. Before I start the application process for my visa, I have an important questions:

Do I need a skills assessment even if my sponsor (future employer) has already received a nomination approval notice?

On the website it says that “some” applicants need a skills assessment (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/vis...l-shortage-482/medium-term-stream#Eligibility).
I am not 100% sure if this applies to me. On the one hand, my occupation is not on the following list:
Migration (IMMI 18/039: Mandatory Skills Assessment—Subclass 482 Visa) Instrument 2018
However, it is on this one:
https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list

I hope that a skills assessment is not required in my case since it would cost me quite a lot of time and money. In my opinion, it would not make much sense since an employer who sponsors me should be prove enough that I am qualified.

Thank you very much in advance!
