Hi everyone! I am working on my 801 application and have a few questions about attaching the evidence.

I'm the sponsor but I can't find any heading in my section related to my stat dec? Should I put it under my partner's (applicant) heading of "Relationship - Spouse, De facto Partner, Evidence of" ? Or should I simply add a new document in my own section?

Also, I'm wondering what to do with the evidence of living together as it acts as part of the evidences of the relationship as well. Which heading should I go to? These headings are obviously different from what I can see from the recommended checklist by DIBP which makes me a bit confused.

Last, my partner has just applied for a new police check not long before we submitted the application. And I can see that the status shows "received" under the heading of "Australian Federal Police Clearance" even though there is no document attached yet. Do I need to upload the document anyway? Why there is the green icon ("received") initially and is this all normal?

For clarity, I added mine under Other in my own section (Sponsor here). I just found it easier to see my partner's documents all in one place and mine all in my own place as that is how I wrote my checklist.

As for the living together, there is a subheading under the Applicant section titled "Couple are Living Together, Evidence of". That sounds appropriate!

Where it says "received" does it actually have a number of documents? Is there still an attach link beside the Australian Federal Police Clearance title?

For the third query, in my panel both the titles of "Australian Federal Police Clearance" and the "Character, Evidence of" display the attach link. But the Australian Police clearance also has the green icon ("Received") instead of the question mark icon ("Recommended"). Does that look normal? The first line of Character evidence, however, says "0 Received" in the status.

Honestly, I've only just submitted mine on the weekend and have already found some weird things with the 'Received' buttons. I have been uploading under categories that still have the "Attach" button there and if I'm unsure if I uploaded.

In your case, as you have not yet uploaded it, I would just put it under the same heading and click the "attach" button.
