Hey guys,

Got my 309/100 approved a week ago. Am I considered PR already now or only after I enter the country the first time?

VEVO says PR in effect but there is still this enter before date which is January 2019 in my case. So I am not 100% sure. Assume I am PR already now correct?

I am asking because we might buy a house before I enter Australia the first time and I need to know if I am already considered PR now or only after first entry.

If the bank or other want to confirm your status they will check VEVO.

I understand that. But do I understand VEVO correctly that I am considered PR as of grant or only after first entry?

Not that the bank will interpret VEVO differently. That's what I want to ensure.

Your status is what is on VEVO when they check it.

Currently as you say it is PR.

You PR can be removed by a number of ways/reasons.
