Hey all!
Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong thread.
So I'm currently on a bridging Visa with my Australian wife who is sponsoring me and awaiting decision on our Application for the partner 820 visa.

My question is: due to the fact of infidelity my partners side and serious emotional and manipulation abusive behaviour this relationship has broken down and reconciliation is no longer an option, what is the time frame immigration allow me to to stay here to organise my Affairs?
Keeping in mind I am married.

any ideas or experience?
Thanks for reading.

Has DIBP been notified? Once they have, they will send you a letter and you will have 28 days to respond. Based on your response they will then make a decision on your application. If is refused , or if you withdraw the application, you will have 28 days from the date you are deemed to have been notified of the refusal/withdrawal to leave Australia, unless you lodge an appeal within the prescribed deadline.
