Hi Kervin,

I think your best best is an ETA 976 Visa (but check if your home country is eligible - you may need an eVisitor Visa instead). You can apply online as long as you're outside the country. I've read that most are approved with 24 hours. Conditions are that you cannot work, and have a maximum stay of 3 months on each visit to Australia. (So technically you can hop out of the country once every three months over the course of a year.)

Once you're back on that you can try to apply for a Tourist Visa 676. Bigger application, but you wouldn't have to keep leaving the country. Again there's a condition on this visa that you cannot work.

Good luck! :)

I haven't done it myself yet. I currently at home for six weeks and will be applying for that visa before the end of the month. I know of people who have done it though. You may get asked a few questions at customs, but as long as your reasons for returning are tourist related (seeing friends, travelling etc.) and you don't intend to work - I've read you should be fine.
