Hello! I'm from Philippines and want to take a visitor's visa to Australia for 2-3 months. I also do have brothers there who will support my living expenses such as food and accommodation during my stay there. Now, I'm on the process of applying visa with their invitation and just want to ask and confirm how much show money I need for my visa to be approved.

Thanks all for your help!

It varies.

Some years ago I had a niece apply, from the Philippines, and she had $10,000 in her bank. Her visa was refused.

In recent years I have had friends apply, from the Philippines, with no money in the bank, and their visa was granted.

I think your main concern will be proof of the need to return to the Philippines, and not choose to stay with your relatives in Australia.
The regulations require visitor visa applicants to have adequate funds for the purpose of the proposed visit, or access to adequate funds.

Manila (and other missions) sometimes improperly add the requirement - in their own right.

As the previous poster has indicated, it is a lottery but there are steps you can take to increase your prospects of success, depending on your circumstances.
My wife (was just GF then) provided no bank account information when she got her visitor visa a number of years ago. You will need a letter of invitation and a stat Dec from your brother's ssying they will provide accommodation and living expenses while you are in Australia.

More importantly you need to show you will return to the Philippines, be it a job to go to, school enrolment st .
