Hi

My husband is going to submit his skill assessment to Engineer's association, could someone please advise if he can provide his payslips instead of Income tax return receipt as he did not file ITR for his initial year (His income was not taxable).
Any advice would be highly appreciated

The short answer is yes, but further evidence such as superannuation/provident fund/bank salary deposits/subsequent taxation returns could be useful.

And is it that we need to provide for last 3 years as we might not have the docs for last 5 years?

Total experience is 5 years starting from year 2012

Pretty sure when I did mine with Engineers Australia and got an opinion on relevant experience I provided a letter from my employer. It stated my name , roles I’d held and duration of time I was in that role. I then just sent them a copy of the role PDs so they could see what the job requirements and responsibilities were. I did submit my tax though too.
