Hi could anyone help with information? I read on a website that if I am the sponsor for a pmv visa and have children in my care from my previous marriage this raises a concern..
Can anyone tell me how so?
And what process is involved about it .

I think it is rubbish.

But it might require a police check for you.

It normally is that you require a police check if the applicant has children not the sponsor - But I did not need to read into it as we both had kids for our PMV so I needed to do the police check anyway.

Thanks. Yes police check is no worry. Just worried how they say fact I have a kid from previous marriage is a concern to sponsor.
It's only time I have come across that info on this site. Not seen it anywhere else

It's not a concern, however you need to have legal authorisation (often a court order) in order to remove them from their home country. Documents signed by their other biological parent may be sufficient, but not always.
