Hi there, I was married early this year, my wife came on a tourist visa and we are now applying for the Partner Visa before her visa expires. I'm on a disability pension a few months ago, because I was sick then had a surgery and now I'm on recovery before I get back to work.

I want to know if the immigration would judge me that I'm not able to sponsor my partner because I'm on a pension? or they won't just look at that and refuse our application?

Thanks for anyone know the answer

The criteria for a partner visa is that you and your partner are in genuine and continuing relationship to the exclusion of all others. So, the fact that you have a disability should not come into it. It is wise to include a detailed submission with your application addressing all of the law, regulations and appropriate policy points. This is something I do with all my partner visa applications, and I haven't lost one in 17 years.
