Hi all,

My wife had applied for an offshore partner visa on 12 Mar 2018. We have uploaded all required documents. She even completed a medical checkup as requested. The current processing time shown on the portal is about 14-16 months. A month before it showed 24-26 months. Is this normal?

I've heard spouses receiving in just 5-6 months. Can we speed this up if we go through a MARA agent?

Any suggestions/recommendations will be much appreciated.

No. It is too late now to seek professional advice, unless you encounter a problem.

Partner (and other) visa processing times vary unpredictably.
Thanks for the info wrussell.

Just a quick question - Does my wife need to apply for an Australian Federal Police check given the fact that she has never been to Australia?

Thanks once again.
