You don't send in original police clearances... that was written on the checklist for paper applications where all documents were certified copies but they needed original police certificates.

Everyone must apply online now and all you need to do is uploadd all the required docs and evidences to your application in immi. Don't mail/post anything in. Clear, color scans of original documents is fine. You do not need to upload certified copies of documents.

This information can all be found on the DIBP website about partner visas and online applications.

The website has been slowly updated recently but things like the partner migration booklet has not been (that I've seen yet). Best to go off the website for the checklist.

Unless is specifically requested (maybe they want to check the authenticity for some reason), it does not get sent in. Upload it with the online application.

If a CO decides they want you to send in an original, that's a case specific thing. It is not a requirement for all applications.

I've had two partner visas granted and never submitted anything by paper, including police checks. This seems to be the case for most applications.

Hi skybluebrewer
I'm planning to submit my application very soon as well could you please tell me what documents I have to submit for the applicant and sponsor
All the information you seek is listed on the DIBP website. I recommend this and NOT the partner migration booklet as the latter needs to be updated.

I plan to submit my partner visa soon, how to submit 888 statutory, since visa application has to submit online?
We asked our friends and family to fill out the Form 888s, sign in front of an official witness (examples are listed on the form), then they color scanned the forms and their Australian passports and emailed them to me. I uploaded those pdf files to my immi account.

Edit: You can just as easily get the original forms from them, and do the color scans yourself. Just remember that you need to upload the F888s with a copy of the identification of the person who signed it.

Information on how to properly do the form is listed on the form.
