I have applied for my wife's spouse visa.

The CO came back with a request for additional document.

Complete Form 40SP: Sponsorship by a partner to migrate to Australia​

I had already signed and attached the 40SP in question.
So now I assume

1. Maybe my form was incomplete
2. or the form was old
3. or I made some mistake
4. or the CO overlooked the 40SP form

This time I have done the 40SP online from My immigration account.

1. It does not have a signing option
2. I dont see a link to my wife's application
3. I did however provide the TRN in the 40SP

Do you think :

1. I need to attach another paper form ?
2. Write to the C/O and ask him why my previous form was not enough ?
3. Just click the confirm requested information has been provide button and wait for my visa as I have done the online 40SP form ?
4. Or something completely different

Also what do you guys think.. how much time should it be from initial assessment to grant ?

You do this using the online form, not by attaching a form.

On your your wifes Immiacount on her name click that drop down box, you should see your name. Click on that and have a look.

How much time is not a question that can be answered.

The TRN is what ties your sponsorship app to her app.

I think you are right, they did not accept my paper form asked for it again

You would click her actual app and where the document attachment section is, your name as sponsor would appear.

I get what you mean... I can see that section, but there is no way for me to see if the 40SP(I submitted online) has been linked online already.

So I would phrase my question this way

I have submitted my 40SP online, which I dont see linked to my wife's application.
Assuming I have done it correctly, should I just click on the button that is now showing up on her application which says

I confirm I have provided information as requested​

There isn't a link to her application. You just do yours and enter the proper TRN. If you've done that, then your sponsor application should say received or submitted or something. That's how you know it's in the system. At least, that's how it was for my sponsor. If that was all that was requested and you've provided it, then you'd click the info provided button.

I am just thinking of doing one additional bit, let me know your thoughts:

I am thinking of attaching a screenshot of my online application, so that there is no doubt left
