I am an Aussie citizen sponsoring my partner, who is applying for a partner visa.
A close friend of mine has just sent me her form 888 stat dec for the visa application and she has done a really great job of it, however...
I have just noticed that she has accidentally put ME down as the applicant, and him as the " Applicant's partner", both in the fields where it requests this and later referring to me as the applicant in her stat dec.
She has gone to a lot of trouble to type an in depth statement and to have it all properly notarized, so if there's a way to avoid asking her to redo all of it, I would prefer that. Can I include a typed up note in our application to explain that she mistakenly swapped the names, but everything else is in order? Or will this make the stat dec invalid?
