Do you have a source for that info?Does anyone know about the state sponsorship? I've read on the immigration website that as long as you have a 12 month contract in a Junior or Senior teaching position, it's possible to apply for it?
There are lots of different types of state sponsorship - the visa sub class I am most familiar with is the 190 (a permanent resident visa), and the 489 (a pathway to permanent residency visa).
It really depends on the specific job you will be nominating, but numerous state / territories have specific criteria that you have to meet before they will nominate you - and often having a job offer is a common one, particularly if you are applying from offshore.
I'm not sure what the rules are around sharing links / recommendations of migration agents (who share info freely) - but once you hit 5 posts feel free to drop me a PM and I'd be happy to share a bunch of websites / forum threads etc.
All the best
