Sorry if this has been asked but had a scan and can't find a thread. Under some time constraints with visa.
My company is willing to sponsor me, however with my career path I have been advised that the roles I am able to apply for will only fall under the STSOL category and so would only be 2 + 2 year visa without the possibility of PR.
My question is, although I know a lot can change over 4 years regarding visas and my own situation. In the current visa format (and after 1st March) is there a chance of applying for a different visa during the 4 years? Say if my role changes and I can applying for a role on the MLTSSL list that can lead to PR.
Or could there be a possibility that as my company grows and I rise the ranks that I could apply for a skilled visa to eventually get PR?
Just worried that if I do the 4 years on the STSOL jobs list I will be booted from Australia straight afterwards never to return!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
