Hi everyone!

I have submitted my visa application on 1st week of March, did my medical checkup and biometrics collection on 2nd week of March. Based on the websites, usually the student visa will be granted within or around 1 month.

My courses actually starting on 17th of April onwards, but until now I did not get any student visa granted yet. It still showing further assessment with action required (biometrics collection). However, i saw their website did mentioned this as below:-

Action Required flag still showing:
Please disregard the action required flag if you have already provided the following information and it is still showing as required on your application summary page:

• Biometrics
• Additional payment requirement
This is a known system issue that is currently being investigated by technical teams.
Note: Citizenship applications are not affected.

My concern is, I thought it takes maximum of 6 weeks to get student visa done. Now, I probably have to defer my course on April, I just wanted to know that, usually it will take how many weeks more to get student visa granted? At least, I can get ready and make preparation on it. Submitted all my documents through agent, but just can't keep waiting for weeks or even months.

Anybody encountered this recently? Looking forward to your help and suggestion.

Hi, there, did you get your visa? My situation is way worse. I submitted it on December 26, 2021, and did the health examination on December 28, 2021. Now, 6 months have passed and I am still waiting.....

I am also SGP'ren and I got my student visa 2 months after applying for it. It will come just need to wait.
