Planning to stay in Adeleide and take up Architecture in University of Adeleide.

I am currently 20 years old and say if I finish my bachelor's within 3-4 years, would I be able to obtain a permanent residency after working to 1-2 years, or would it be more possible to get a master's after 1-2 years of working and obtaining a license? I was looking forward to bachelors then 1-2 years of work then PR to secure my place here in Australia.

Thank you,

I always warn against choosing a particular course of study in order to obtain some future migration outcome. Who knows what the requirements are in 2 or 4 years and which occupations will be on the skills list.

You should choose to study something, because you want to and because it will be beneficial to your overall career and job prospects.

If, once you finish your degree, there is a pathway to Permanent Residence for you, well, so much the better, but it should not be the deciding factor in choosing a course.
