Hi my wife has a sub 100 indefinite period and multiple exit on the visa. Stayed 5 years in Australia.
Does she need to apply for a visa to go out and return to Australia

If the initial 5 year travel facility has expired or nearing expiry, she needs a Resident Return visa to come back.

Hi thank you for replying. I have attached a picture of part of the visa as stay period is indefinitely and travel facility just says multiple.

The part of that visa, that is vital, is the:
Must not arrive after: 14 February 2022.

The holder can stay in Australia, they can also leave.
But if they wish to enter again, they need a new visa with a later date on the "Must not arrive after" section.

During the 5 years between grant (14 Feb 2017?) and 14 February 2022, they could leave and enter at any time and as often as they wish.
