I'm applying for Subclass 476 online, and I have submitted all the documents required. and my application status is ( this application has been received by the department and will be assessed ).

so all i have to do now is just wait ? because I don't see a submit icon or something like that

1-Photograph - Passport
2-Qualifications - Overseas, Evidence of
3-Language Ability - English, Evidence of
4-Support -Foreign Government Agency, Evidence of
5-Birth or Age, Evidence of
6-Character, Evidence of (Police Clearance)
7-Relationship - Relative, Evidence of
8-Travel Document
9-Travel history, Evidence of (USA Work and Travel J1 visa)

Upload Form 80, Form 1221 and your resume as well. (Just to avoid any delays)

Don't go for medical now as immigration authorities discourage to get your medical done once you have lodged your application before the case officer asks.

Hi, what is the status of your application now ? Any Progress ? I lodged mine 20/11/2017 and uploaded all the docs you mentioned. I want to know do you need to organise heralth insurance before VISA is granted ?

Great. You just need to wait for 50 days to get the visa and no need for health insurance.

Thank you for your response, I just wanted to know, how long did you have to wait before a case officer was assigned to you ? Have you already migrated and if so, what is the job climate like for 476 holders?

when you submit your application you just wait fer almost 50 days to get the visa, I don't know about the case officer. and no i haven't been to Australia yet, so i don't know about the job climate there.

And i believe it's not an immigration visa.

Uploading Documents for Subclass 476

Hey guys!

I'm also applying for the subclass 476 Visa and I have the following questions:

After I lodged my application, the status of the list of attachments all show 'recommended' instead of 'required'. Does this mean I do not have to upload every item on that list? Currently, I've uploaded only the pertinent documents such as my travel document, Evidence of Educational Certificate, Form 80, etc. Do I need to upload documents such as Evidence of Character, Evidence of Intention to Obtain Character Assessment, and Evidence of Relative even if they are only listed as 'recommended'?

In addition, Form 47A is not listed or recommended as a document I need to upload in the online application system, but the subclass 476 Visa information page states that Form 47A is required for anyone included in the application who is 18 years of age or older and is not your partner. I have parents and one older sibling, however they are not migrating with me to Australia nor are they dependent on me. Do I still need to fill out Form 47A for each member of my family unit?

Yeah, I have the same questions too.

I think the character assessment is not required till you are asked by a case officer.

Also, does anyone know how long I have before I have to enter Australia after Visa is granted. From what I understand it's 18 month upon entry. but doesn't state how long I have to enter. I have read in other threads that its 6 months but thats from 2012 so does anyone know if its still true..

476 visa

Good day everyone, as I understand the 476 visa is now being replaced with another visa type. Does anyone know if this could effect my sponsorship? I have already secured a job with an Australian employer.
Will appreciate replies thanks.. :
