Hi All,

I am on 489 family sponsored visa and when i try to apply for 887 visa via the immi account it brings me to a question:-

Have you lived for 2 years and worked for 1 one year in one or more of the specified regional areas?.

Now my condition is to lived and work in a designated area. should i tick it yes and continue the application?

Secondly, i plan to go overseas while my application is being processed, how do i notify my case officer about this? it says that i need to let them know of my travel plans.

Any help will be much appreciated!

You can tick yes for having lived and worked in a specified regional area. You can include submission regarding your travel plans.

Also, what is the best way to inform immi about my travel? Just submit my tickets on the website with the online application?

How did you go with your travel plan and what is the process to inform immi dept about travel plan while 887 visa is under process? I am in the same boat as i will be apply 887 in May 2018 but need to travel overseas for a month with family after applying 887 Visa, so just wondering if you are aware of the process or anyone in the forum response would be helpful to me.
