Hi everyone!

I am planning to get my father to visit us (through Subclass 600: Tourist scheme) so he can attend my daughter's wedding here in Australia.

We're getting him to send through all his documents via international post. The only issue however is that he does not own a PC (or have internet access, for that matter) to complete the online application himself.

So is it 'allowed' for me to complete an online application on his behalf? He would send me all the information to respond to each question - it's just that I'd be filling in the form on his behalf.

I've heard a few people who have done this but just wanted to know if it is usually okay (i.e. do the case officers usually look at IP addresses and things to make sure it is the main applicant lodging the online form?).

Thanks in advance guys!

Okay so I think I may have solved my question but can someone please confirm if this is the right thing to do?? Pleaseee :):):)

So if I fill out Form 956 (or was it Form 956A?) and attach it with the online application - that authorises me to complete my father's application on his behalf and receive correspondence about his application on his behalf too?

Thanks so much in advance - this visa stuff is seriously confusing
