Hi all, can somebody please explain how the tourust visa 600 works for 12 months, but maximum 3 month stay. If approved can you go to another country for a week and then return for another 3 months?
We want to apply for partner visa, but need more time saving up with no more time apart. Any help would be appreciated.

When you apply for tourist visa you get the option for the duration of the visit and if the visa is for multiple entry or not.

If you choose multiple entry and 12 months stay you would most likely get asked for medical.

If granted with maximum 3 month stay on each visit, you would require to exit Australia after the 3 months on initial arrival. You can go to any country and come back to start the 3 month stay again.
