Hi , my Filipina gf works in HK and would like to live with me in Australia. Not sure of the best way to go about this. Would a tourist visa be the way to go and to apply for a partner visa whilst here, or is it difficult to get a tourist visa from HK as her child/family/ home etc is in Phillipines?
Thanks for any help

We need to know a bit more on your relationship history to help you.

How long have you been in a relationship?

Is it your child?

What relationship evidences do you have? (there are 4 categories you need to for fill).

Tourist visa is a Visitor Visa and if the "No Further Stay" condition is attached - your plan will not work. In any case a Visitor Visa may be hard to obtain.

Planned changes to Sponsorship may also be a issue.

Ok, not yet met ( gf was just an easier way of putting it!) so no, not my child. Things do seem to be quite promising on all aspects though so I want to know the right direction to go in basically. I’m planning on going to HK in January and possibly over to Phillipines too. So, just would like to know what my options are and the obstacles I may come up against.
