My GF has enough I think to satisfy the dept that she can fund herself whilst on a tourist visa. Does she actually even need to show a sponsor?
Of course we want to show that she will be visiting me and her family here, hopefully gains future evidence of our relationship .

The visas we did were not the family sponsored ones, just the normal tourist stream.
I did of course say that I would be covering all costs.
She did not have a job to return to either.

So you wrote an invitation letter for your partner stating you would cover all costs?
Did you apply for 3months and got it no problem ?

Basically yes. We got 3 months on the first application, and 12 months on the second application. The 2nd application was after applying for the PMV 300.
