Dear Readers,

We have moved to Australia on 01/05/2013. PR was granted while we were in USA on the 28/06/2012. There have been a couple of times i was out of country as mentioned below. Can someone please advise my eligibility date to file for Citizenship?

Date out of Country ----- Date back in country

16/3/2014 ------------ TO ------------ 4/6/2014 (80 days)

3/6/2015 ------------ TO ------------ 28/5/2016 (360 days)

28/7/2017 ------------ TO ------------ 25/8/2017 (28 days)

Somewhere around beginning of July 2019.

Your limiting factor is the no more than 1 year out of the country in last 4 years.

Your last 2 trips total 388 days, more than a year.

You would need to count backwards until you reach 365 days overseas, then 4 years from that date is your eligibility date.
