I'm a Canadian, married to an Australian (dual citizen) and we have a 2 year old son that has dual citizenship. We came back to Aus last year for a visit (I got a tourist visa 600 for 12 months.)
Now something has come up and my husband is required to stay in the country and my visa is about to expire. I was denied an extension and looks like I will have to return to Canada with our son, alone.
We are eventually planning on applying for the PR partner visa but this is all too sudden to miraculously come up with 7k. So, my question is this:
Are there any limits on how often you can be granted a tourist visa 600? And how long do I have to be out of Aus for before applying again? Ideally as soon as possible would be best but we'll do what we have to.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated! We're losing hella sleep over here!
