Have you checked all the relevant state migration websites? They will list exactly what the requirements are for each state.
Hello CCMS, i have been reading this
https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/...ion-visas/skilled-nominated-visa-subclass-190
and while i thought he could have meant about having employment before 190 application.. i also also read
https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/...visa-nomination-occupation-list-for-graduates which stated nursing didnt have the require to have job/experience.
Do you know if theres such requirement for other states?
If you are living in another state and seek Victorian nomination, to succeed you will have to provide a current Victorian job offer and a Confirmation of Employment Statement.
Some practitioners take the view that Victorian authorities are capricious in dealing with nomination applications in some fields, not notably nursing.
Did you receive advice about other visa options?
Hello wrussell, as mentioned above, i read
https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/...visa-nomination-occupation-list-for-graduates and nurses didnt seem to have a requirement for having employment? Im left confused and the agent didnt seem very helpful in giving me options. I ideally would like a 189 visa but i only have 65 points if i have achieve superior english. I did ask if theres any way to increase my points. He said no. I brought up option such as Naati CCL as my second language is mandarin, he mention that its impossible if im not professional speaker. So there was basically a lot of silent moments and it just sounded like a dead end for me. He mentioned I could do partner visa as i've been with my partner for 3 years now. And i explained that i didnt know which is more cost effective and safest as i heard partner visa application is complicated and i do have options for 189/190. He only mentioned that its up to me. And then there was silence again. I needed recommendation, suggestions, but i didnt receive much of this. I felt like i wasted a hundred dollar on the consultation T_T
