Hello everyone,
we just lodged the partner visa application and already found an expression mistake we made.
We used in on of our documents the expression"spouse" instead "de- facto"of what we actually are.
Should we fill out form 1023 with the corrected document attached or would it be enough just to add file 1023, mentioning the mistake?(it will takes weeks to get the corrected document)
I appreciate every answer as i cant sleep therefore...
Bye

Blame a language barrier & Wikipedia ;P.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spouse

The Australian Tax Office also use it interchanagbly for defacto or married - https://www.ato.gov.au/Individuals/...rn/Spouse-details---married-or-de-facto-2017/

I refer to my partner as a spouse on most forms and we aren't married (note during the whole Immi application process I used "partner".

If you think it requires it then a form 1023 stating that you inadvertently used the term spouse instead of defacto in the application, that should suffice.
