Hi,
I've the same scenario as quoted above but :

I'm already living in australia on Grad. Skill Visa VC-485 with my partner in de-facto relation from last 2+ years.
She has filed in for her student via extention and currently has been granted Bridging visa A. Now since I have cleared IELTS with 7 each in 4 modules so I'm planning to file in Perm. Residency VC-885 .

I tried filling the information and online application but it does not let me go further my partner's details confirmation.
Is that I need to file in paper application or am I missing something for online application.

Its urgent so please reply at the earliest.

Thanks
H

You'll note from Skilled - Independent (Residence) visa (subclass 885) that eligibility via a Bridging Visa is in relation to other visas.
If you have checked the eligibility thoroughly and you think your partner is eligible, I'd make a call to Immi.

You can get them as your secondary/dependants on the application that you have already filed in 2009.
2.can i add my partner and my baby to my visas as depandent?if yes what will happen when i will be back on my bridging visa can they stay with me?
Yes you can include them on your application. Once your bridging visa commences, your partner/baby will be most probably be on Bridging Visa C(in which they cannot leave the country Nor your partner can work UNLESS you prove that you have compelling reason and facing financial hardship). Clearing Visa C: your partner/baby can leave on bridging Visa C but they cannot enter back, that's why I said they cannot leave(assuming you all can wait until you get your apllication finalized
3..my baby's status in australia?
Same as above. Your baby and wife wil be on bridging Visa C
4.my wedding will be intercaste as we both are from different countries and different religions..and my partner is divorced recently both of our parents don't want us to come back otherwise they will kill us this is what they said and they will definitely do cos i am from india and my partner is from nepal...can i get any legal help from australia???
Just file in your partner/baby application as dependent on your Visa 885 and you all will stay together.

@w3l3l3y...thanks a lot dear ..now i know there is something which i can do to live together with my family...thanks again
Also, just call DIMIA and tell them your situation and ask them to send the checklist in your email,
make sure you have noted the name of the person your taking to, time and date as well.

Ask about the docs that you need to show/to be sent to Immigration

Just further to the answers in Blue, do have a look at the 885 secondary applicant eligibility requirements and as long as your partner has an eligible visa and meets all other requirements, adding her to your application would seem to be OK - Skilled - Independent (Residence) visa (subclass 885) and you may have to put a medical off until the baby is born and you'll not be able to add the baby until it is born.

You do not mention your occupation and waiting since April 2009 nearly indicates you may have a lower priority and that is something you may need to consider re your longer term future for if you do have an occupation not considered to be of higher demand, you could be subject to an application being ceased at some stage.

In the meantime, I would have thought with being eligible, your partner would go on to a BVA when her student visa expires if there has been no decision made on the 885.
