Visa changes in 2018?
Hey everyone,
Are there any more updates on when the changes for the visas (especially the partner and prospective marriage visas) are coming into effect? Last I heard the bill was still with the Australian senate waiting to be discussed and passed.
Someone in a different group suggested it’s likely the announced changes won’t come into effect until July 1st, which is the start of the new financial year. Does anyone have any more current up to date information?
I have to wait till May 18th to lodge my PMV300 as that’s when my divorce will be finalised so I am a little nervous about the fact that the changes are supposed to come but it’s not clear when.
